Special Needs Teacher Assistant (Immediate Need)
Prishtina High School is seeking a compassionate, patient, and motivated Special Needs Teacher Assistant to support students with diverse learning needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and staff to provide individualized support and help foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in supporting students with special needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group support as required
- Help implement Individualized Student Plans (ISPs)
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
Qualifications
- Background in education, psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage
- High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
Elementary School Physical Education Teacher (Starting on August 10)
Prishtina High School is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and student-centered Physical Education Teacher for the Elementary School division.
The successful candidate will promote physical fitness, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and positive character development through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for elementary students
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Organize games, activities, and school sports events as appropriate
- Monitor and assess student progress and participation
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working with children and encouraging active lifestyles
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school community
